RUI VARGAS
Rui Vargas has been programming Lux-Frágil since it opened. Twenty-five years of bookings that helped build the club into what it is today. The man has a job most music directors only dream of, and he still plays the room often enough. The dance floor is a warm place when Rui plays his mesh of house and techno obscurities.
He spends two hours on Antena 3 national radio every Saturday digging for records nobody else is playing, and putting them right in front of you. Disco, house, techno, leftfield electronics, the well-made and the strange.
Some of his guests lately: The Chemical Brothers, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Danny Daze. You get it? Right?
