Backbone and Jesterr, two artists pulling the scene upwards from the inside. Backbone has co-built Vinculum in Mondim de Basto and is fast becoming an accomplished producer, with some notable releases to his name. Jesterr, also a producer whose music found a way to clubland, managed Living Room in Madeira, and now owns Shatter, a dance music project in his homeland. Both came up fighting for their space, contributing in many ways to the evolution and growth of the Portuguese festival and club panorama.

The music is in the same family. Backbone is physical and textured with splashes of light, Jesterr overlaps with an eclectic stance across techno’s spectrum.
