Friday’s Back Stage is curated by NOIA and led entirely by women. That shouldn’t matter now, but one day, perhaps, a room full of women behind the decks will stop requiring explanations.
Until then, we keep fighting. Mix’Elle, Violet, DJ Storm, NOIA and MAKI all bring their different stories to the Back Stage, from Lisbon’s underground to the heart of Porto’s clubbing scene to a legendary drum and bass lineage. Expect a lot of bass, jungle, breaks and dubstep. Anything that refuses to behave properly really.
