Twenty years inside the Portuguese scene earns you a few things and one of them is finding your own kind. Another is meeting them in a booth at a festival.

Johan grew up in Setúbal bouncing to 90s music. What he now plays is electronic to the bone but slightly slippery, you can sense the fusion ingrained in the syncopated beats. His many influences condensed and suddenly freed.

Vasco Valente lives between music and wine in the Douro valley, where he runs a monthly vinyl-and-natural-wine night at Vila Real’s theatre. Seven years a resident at Indústria. House, techno, breaks, electro, all brought together with love.
The niceties end there, though. They’re here to bring the house down.
