Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales

The following terms and conditions govern the sale of tickets for ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival, promoted and organized by MOYG, Lda., headquartered at Avenida Central de Seroa, no. 509, P-4595-415 Paços de Ferreira, Portugal.

For any questions, please use the contact form. The purchase, possession, use, or attempted use of a ticket constitutes acceptance of the following conditions.

The Organization reserves the right to modify these general conditions. In such case, ticket holders will be notified by email if any changes materially affect their rights as consumers.

 

General Conditions of Ticket Sales and Access

1. Ticket Types

Festival Pass and Festival Pass PLUS (3-Day Festival Pass):
Grants access to all activities of ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival. Holders of the Festival Pass may freely enter and leave the venue until 01:00 AM, with re-entry permitted at any time for those who leave before 01:00 AM.

Daily Ticket:
Grants access to the activities of ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival on the specific day corresponding to the purchased ticket. Once the holder leaves the venue, re-entry is not permitted.

Neocamping (access associated with the Festival Pass)

Access and Eligibility:
Access to Neocamping is exclusive to Festival Pass holders.

Registration and Conditions:
Registration is mandatory and only valid upon presentation of the Festival Pass Transaction ID.

Registration for Neocamping is free of charge, with only a symbolic Eco Fee applied per participant.

The Eco Fee is non-refundable, and reservations are non-transferable.

This reservation does not grant access to the festival venue, nor any benefits other than access to the camping area.

Operational Rules:
If tent dimensions exceed the indicated limits, the Organization reserves the right to refuse installation.

Operating Period:
Neocamping will be open from August 5th at 9:00 AM until August 10th at 12:00 PM.



2. Ticket Purchase and Venue Admission

  1. Booking fees are not included in the ticket price, except at the Festival box office. Each vendor applies its own booking fees. In the event of a total or partial cancellation of ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival (except in cases of unforeseen circumstances and/or force majeure and/or any other situations beyond its control, or where cancellation of the entire Festival is recommended for safety, prudence, and/or risk to third parties), the ticket price will be refunded, excluding any booking fees charged by the different sales channels.

 

  1. Tickets may only be purchased through points of sale expressly authorized by the Organization and, once purchased, may not be exchanged or refunded, except in the event of cancellation of ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival. Any ticket that has been altered, torn, or shows signs of forgery shall entitle the Organization to refuse the holder’s access to the venues where concerts and activities take place. Tickets are non-transferable—resale is prohibited and may result in the cancellation of the ticket without refund or compensation and/or refusal of entry or expulsion from the venue.

 

  1. The ticket holder accepts and acknowledges that the Festival’s only accepted payment system is tap-to-pay, and that no other form of payment will be accepted within the Festival premises.

 

  1. The Organization shall not be responsible for tickets that have not been purchased through official online or physical sellers, or that have been forged or duplicated.

 

  1. After purchase, tickets are only eligible for a refund in the event of cancellation of the event, under the terms set out in point 2.1. In all cases, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check the date and time of the event stated on the ticket.

 

  1. The Organization informs that it has implemented technical procedures capable of detecting any duplicated, photocopied, or forged tickets. The Organization reserves the right to refuse access to the venue to holders of tickets if any anomaly is detected. The detection of any fraudulent use of home-print tickets will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law, including criminal liability. Any ticket sold, transferred, used, or assigned in violation of these conditions may be cancelled, and any person attempting to use such a ticket may be denied entry or expelled from the premises without refund or compensation.

 

  1. Access and attendance conditions are subject to regulations that may be applied at any time to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or any other similar public health emergency. These conditions may therefore be amended in accordance with the approval of new measures that modify the conditions in force at the time of ticket purchase.



3. Access

Saturday, 8 August — 22:00–11:30

Box office and wristband exchange opening hours:
Wednesday, 5 August — 14:00–20:00
Thursday, 6 August — 14:00–07:30
Friday, 7 August — 14:00–07:30
Saturday, 8 August — 18:00–10:30

 

Festival Pass and Festival Pass Plus

Festival Pass and Festival Pass Plus holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband valid for the 3-day duration of the Festival. This exchange can be made at the box office located at the Festival entrance or, for Neocamping guests, at the on-site Welcome Center.

The Organization is not responsible for the care, loss, or condition of the wristband, which remains the sole responsibility of the participant. Damaged, broken, or tampered wristbands will not be accepted for entry. In the event of temporary exit from the venue, the wristband must be kept in order to allow re-entry.

 

Daily Tickets

A daily ticket grants direct entry and does not require exchange for a wristband. Damaged, torn, or tampered tickets will not be accepted. Once the holder leaves the venue, re-entry will not be permitted.

 

All tickets and wristbands remain the property of the Organization.

 

4. Admission

  1. The Organization reserves the right to refuse admission to any person who may reasonably be considered to pose a risk, and in particular to any person in possession of a ticket showing signs of forgery or any other anomaly. Any fraudulent use of a ticket will be prosecuted in accordance with applicable law.

 

  1. For security reasons, large bags, suitcases, large backpacks, skateboards, professional cameras, food, and drinks are not permitted inside ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival venues. Small bags or backpacks and motorcycle helmets are permitted but must be deposited at the cloakroom.

    Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: pocket knives, any type of weapon, chains, spiked belts and/or bracelets, plastic bottles with caps, alcoholic beverages, professional photo/video equipment, audio recorders, GoPro mounts/selfie sticks, glass objects (bottles, perfumes, etc.), any object that may be thrown, food, and illegal substances or related paraphernalia.

  2. Participants may be subject to searches of their bags, backpacks, and clothing by the Festival security team in order to ensure compliance with access conditions.

 

  1. The following behaviours and items are strictly prohibited during ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or expulsion from the venue:
    1. Climbing or remaining on fences, barriers, trees, bushes, walls, safety fences, climbing structures, attractions, temporary structures, installations, or buildings;
    2. Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or personal motor vehicles (except when required for accessibility reasons);
    3. Entry into restricted or unauthorized areas;
    4. Crowd surfing, moshing, or other unsafe behaviours;
    5. Large bags or backpacks;
    6. Food or drinks;
    7. Illegal substances, including new psychoactive substances (commonly known as “legal highs”) and other unsafe drugs, including nitrous oxide/laughing gas and associated paraphernalia;
    8. Animals, except registered assistance dogs;
    9. Lighting fires, participating in fires, or placing objects in fire;
    10. Dangerous objects (including pocket knives, any type of weapon, chains, spiked belts and/or bracelets); plastic bottles with caps; alcoholic beverages; professional photo/video equipment; audio recorders; GoPro mounts/selfie sticks; glass objects (bottles, perfumes, etc.); any object that may be thrown; food; illegal substances and paraphernalia;
    11. Posters or materials of a political or religious nature, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by the Festival;
    12. Umbrellas, tables, chairs, dining tents, seating, or any other items considered by the Festival to pose a safety risk;
    13. Smoking in enclosed areas or any other areas where smoking is prohibited.

Any participant may be expelled from the venue, even after entry, without entitlement to any refund, in case of breach of instructions from ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival staff, disruptive behaviour, possession or consumption of illegal substances, or visible intoxication. Participants remain fully responsible for their own actions and any resulting damage to third parties or property.

Entry to ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The Organization shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage suffered during the event, including theft or damage to personal belongings or vehicles, except in cases of proven negligence by the Festival.

In case of emergency, ticket holders must follow all instructions and guidance provided by Festival staff and/or security personnel.

5. Minors

Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted to enter ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival.

The Festival Organization reserves the right to request a national identity document or passport to verify the age of participants upon entry to the venue or at any time during the Festival.

It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check the applicable age restrictions before purchasing a ticket. Any failure to comply with these restrictions may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue.

 

7. Modification or Cancellation of the Festival

  1. The Organization reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel the ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival programme at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. Under no circumstances shall any change or modification to the programme entitle ticket holders to a refund.

 

  1. The Organization will use its best efforts to avoid any inconvenience caused by changes or cancellation of the ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival programme, such as alterations to performance schedules.

 

  1. In the event of a full cancellation of NEOPOP Festival 2025, customers may request a refund within the legally established period from the date of public announcement of the cancellation, in the manner defined by the Organization for that purpose, if necessary.

Notwithstanding the above, full or partial cancellation of ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival due to force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances shall not entitle ticket holders to a refund. Force majeure shall be understood as defined in the Portuguese Civil Code and relevant case law, and shall include any circumstance beyond the control of the organizer that, for reasons of safety, prudence, and/or risk to third parties, requires the cancellation of the Festival.

In the event of ticket refunds, such refunds shall be limited exclusively to the ticket price, expressly excluding any costs incurred by customers, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or any other expenses related to attendance at the Festival.

8. Intellectual Property and Image Rights

  1. All image rights and intellectual property rights arising directly or indirectly from artistic performances or any other activities taking place during ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival are reserved. The recording, filming, or capture of images or sound for any use other than strictly personal is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Organizer.

 

  1. The NEOPOP brand and its derivatives are the property of MOYG, Lda., and their use is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Organizer.

 

  1. The audience expressly consents to their appearance in images and audio-visual recordings made by any type of media for informational, promotional, and/or commercial purposes related to ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival, and authorizes such use free of charge. Such images may be used worldwide and for an unlimited period of time across any media or platform.

 

9. Complaints

The Organization will make complaint forms available to the public at designated locations within ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival, in accordance with applicable regulations and upon request.

Any complaint may also be submitted through the official online complaints book, using the details of MOYG, Lda., NIF 513019626.

 

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data of users of this website will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

 

11. Warnings and Recommendations

  1. Strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, lasers, and smoke machines may be used at ANTIPOP – 20 Years of NEOPOP Festival.

 

  1. Loud music may damage hearing.

 

  1. The Festival takes accessibility needs seriously and actively encourages participation by people with disabilities or other access requirements.

 

12. Legal Disclaimer

The Organization reserves the right to take legal action, both civil and criminal, as it deems appropriate, against the authors of any attempt of fraud, intrusion, and/or any damage caused to the Organization, directly or indirectly.

 

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Where applicable law allows the parties to choose jurisdiction, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights, the parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction and agree to submit any disputes arising from the interpretation or application of these terms to the courts of the district of Viana do Castelo. Consumers may, however, bring claims before the courts of their place of residence, as provided by law.
